Gilbert’s Guns

Washington Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas is under investigation by the NBA and D.C. police after it was learned that “Agent Zero” stored 4 unloaded firearms in a locked container underneath his Verizon Center Locker. The investigation is still ongoing and all details have not been released yet. The Washington Wizards were previously known as the Washington Bullets but in 1997 owner Abe Pollin decided to change the name because of the negative connotation associated with D.C.’s high homicide and crime rate in the 1990’s.
